Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

Your Right of Withdrawal

Under EU consumer law (Article 16(l) of the Consumer Rights Directive, implemented in Austria via § 18(1)(9) FAGG), the standard 14-day right of withdrawal for online contracts does not apply to bookings of accommodation other than for residential purposes where the contract provides for a specific date or period — which includes this booking. Once your reservation is confirmed, the cancellation and refund terms set out below apply instead of a statutory withdrawal right.

Cancellation Process

Guests may cancel reservations by emailing office@magnoliasuitevienna.com with their full name, booking number, and check-in date.

Refund Terms

• 30+ days before arrival: a 30% refund of the total booking amount will be issued.
• Less than 30 days before arrival: no refund will be issued.
• Last-minute bookings (made within 24 hours of check-in): charged at a short-notice rate and non-refundable — the notice periods above do not apply.

No-Show Policy

Guests who fail to arrive without prior cancellation receive no refund.

Early Departure

No refunds are provided for early departure once check-in has been completed.

Processing Details

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary by provider, and transaction fees may be deducted.

Discretionary Exceptions

Refunds outside of this policy are only granted in exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of Magnolia Suite Vienna.
